For many of the 7,792 people in Archer, Fla., without Internet access, the library is the place to be.

Since Archer remains a small, rural town without many resources, the residents depend on the library for everything from applying for jobs and governmental services to doing homework and playing games.

Without funding from the federal government, economic growth will continue to be a challenge for the Archer community.
