What happens when 42 different international students from 26 different countries come to attend the University of Florida? Read their stories to find out what it was adjusting to life in Gainesville, Fla.

More than half a million students from other nations study at U.S. colleges and universities. The University of Florida ranked in the top 25 institutions for international student enrollment in 2001, with more than 3,000 students from outside the United States.

Fourteen online journalism reporters from the Reporting & Writing for Online Media course in the University of Florida's College of Journalism & Communications created this online magazine during the Fall 2003 semester.
